I have played pick up and organized sports all my life. I have played competitive ultimate frisbee for over 34 years. And I still play semi-organized adult league basketball.
I have lead youth clinics, coached youth and college sports teams (ultimate, basketball, soccer, baseball), and I helped start leagues and a long-standing legacy coed Ultimate tournament known as Camel City Glazed Daze in 2003.
Playing competitively gives me yet another reason to keep fit, to learn new techniques, and to find my edges and keep pushing for maximum enjoyment.
