I have played pick up and organized sports all my life. I have played competitive ultimate frisbee for over 34 years. And I still play semi-organized adult league basketball.
I have lead youth clinics, coached youth and college sports teams (ultimate, basketball, soccer, baseball), and I helped start leagues and a long-standing legacy coed Ultimate tournament known as Camel City Glazed Daze in 2003.
I currently play ultimate in the Great Grand Masters division for HURT, a Triangle, NC-based team, and still play in the Winston-Salem/Triad Area local leagues.
Performing competitively gives me yet another reason to keep fit, to learn new techniques, and to find my edges and keep pushing for improvement.
